P&O Iona is the largest ship ever built for the British cruise market, accommodating over 5,000 guests across 18 decks. Designed with a modern, airy feel, it features expansive glass walls and open spaces that bring the sea views indoors. A standout feature is the SkyDome – a vast glass-domed space that serves as a pool area by day and transforms into an entertainment venue by night, hosting aerial shows, DJ sets, and live performances. Dining options are plentiful, with over 30 venues ranging from included main dining rooms to specialty restaurants like The Keel and Cow, known for its steak offerings. The ship also boasts the world’s first gin distillery at sea, offering guests unique tasting experiences. Cabins are thoughtfully designed, with more than half featuring private balconies. The new conservatory mini-suites offer additional space with a glass-enclosed sitting area, ideal for scenic cruising. Iona operates on liquefied natural gas (LNG), making it P&O’s most environmentally friendly ship, reducing emissions significantly. Sailing from Southampton, Iona offers itineraries to the Norwegian fjords in summer and the Canary Islands in winter, providing a versatile cruising experience for a wide range of travelers.
